…Welcome to a special out of band episode of Founders Firewall. So while I'm working on season one, which will drop in early twenty twenty six, I just wanted to talk about one of the tools that we're absolutely going to use in Founders Firewall and that is the TraceBid Community Edition tool, which is a free version of TraceBid that you can use to deploy AWS credential, canaries, fake real SSH keys, usernames and passwords, you can put in your password manager like this one I've got over there. If anyone use this, I would get an alert instantly. Browser cookies, so you can know if an info stealer has been stealing all of your session cookies and putting them on the dark web or whatever and email, so you can know if your email account is compromised. You can see eight minutes ago, I opened that email that looks like account recovery backup codes, and I knew instantly that that happened.
The way it works is you download the CLI, which works for all operating systems…
and then you run TraceBid auth. That's going to let you log in between the browser and the command line version, and then you can simply run TraceBid again and then you'll see under Deploy, you've got many different options for deploying different types of canaries or you can simply do all and deploy all of them at the same time. I think the Browser one is the most interesting, because we just see so many info stealers stealing sessions because that's where you've got web administration portals, GCP, Google Workspace, AWS, and it's really hard to detect when that happens on a bunch of different computers. But if you've got canaries, which are real fake credentials, meaning they actually work to connect to something you don't care about, except for receiving an alert when someone uses them, this is the perfect solution. So make sure you follow Founders Firewall if you want to be alerted when season one starts getting released in twenty twenty six, where we're gonna secure a tech startup from zero to pretty decent security going from endpoints, application security, external attack surface management, Google Workspace, collaboration, everything you'll need we will cover, including of course using canaries and honeypots to detect intrusions. And if you need a referral code, just ask in the comments…
